Manage Project Permissions
To assign permissions to a role in Zymmr, follow these steps:
Navigate to Project Settings
- Go to the project listing page where all projects assigned to you are listed.
- Choose the project by selecting the project.
- Click on "Project Settings."
Assign Permissions
- In the Project Settings page, locate the permissions section.
- The functions are listed on the left and the roles are listed on the right.
Add Role to a Function
- To add a new role to a function, press the "+" icon next to the desired function.
- Choose the role you want to assign from the dropdown list.
Select Functions
Available functions you can assign roles to include:
- Browse Project
- Administer Project
- Create Work Item
- Add Attachment
- Delete Attachment
- Add Comment
- Edit Comment
- Delete Comment
- View Comment
- View Attachment
- Add Timelog
- View Timelog
- Delete Timelog
- Edit Work Item
- Manage Sprint
- Delete Work Item
Important Notes
- Ensure roles are predefined before attempting to assign permissions.
- Review the selected functions to ensure the role has the appropriate permissions.
