Manage Project Permissions

To assign permissions to a role in Zymmr, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the project listing page where all projects assigned to you are listed.
  2. Choose the project by selecting the project.
  3. Click on "Project Settings."

Assign Permissions

  1. In the Project Settings page, locate the permissions section.
    • The functions are listed on the left and the roles are listed on the right.

Add Role to a Function

  1. To add a new role to a function, press the "+" icon next to the desired function.
  2. Choose the role you want to assign from the dropdown list.

Select Functions

Available functions you can assign roles to include:

  • Browse Project
  • Administer Project
  • Create Work Item
  • Add Attachment
  • Delete Attachment
  • Add Comment
  • Edit Comment
  • Delete Comment
  • View Comment
  • View Attachment
  • Add Timelog
  • View Timelog
  • Delete Timelog
  • Edit Work Item
  • Manage Sprint
  • Delete Work Item

Important Notes

  • Ensure roles are predefined before attempting to assign permissions.
  • Review the selected functions to ensure the role has the appropriate permissions.
